Ending The Holidays (In a Not Cool Way)
9 days of holidays ended so fast yet so slow. The reason why
it ended so fast is I couldn’t get enough sleep as I tend to sleep around 3’o
clock in the morning when it comes to holidays (bad habit yo!). The reason why
it ended so slow is I couldn’t find anything to do! I did force myself to make
holiday planning but it seems like holiday is forever (not to mention I’m
home-stuck).
Well, to be honest, some of my plans didn’t work. We didn’t
get to watch movies as everyone was super busy with their projects; I couldn’t
go to my friends’ houses as my parents were rather lazy to pick me up after
they finished their work; and I only went to the book shop once but I found that
the book I wanted to buy was sold out (bad luck…).
If you think that I have a bad holiday, you’re wrong. I did learnt origami with my brother and he
taught me how to fold a wolf and a dragon! Compared to his work, mine looked
horrible and crooked but still, I get to add these collections to my desk. I
also learnt some cooking skills from my mother like steaming eggs, making fried
rice, cleaning a fish and so on. I hate to admit that my brother literally
knows how to do anything, he knows how to make custard egg and bake cookies (Although
I prefer ‘cooking’ the nugget with eggs). Someday I would definitely ask my
brother to teach me everything he knows, he’s like a senpai to me. If you were
to ask me, I ‘ll say holidays ended shortly.
If you think that I have a great holiday, you’re wrong
again. I have nothing to talk about my holidays because I spent my holidays
like I was spending a weekend during school weeks. Do house chores in the morning;
read a book in the afternoon; nap or slack around complaining nothing to do in
the evening; stayed up late at night just to read manga and watch videos; think
about life before going to bed (I know my routine is dull because I have to
take care of my brother and sister). Besides Monday which our kiasu class
decided to have choir practice in the school hall and Tuesday, the day I went
to procrastinate in the shopping mall, I’ve not been to anywhere else. If you
were to ask me, I ‘ll say holidays ended slowly.
Well holidays or not- it makes no difference for me
(Holidays = Longer Ver. Weekends). I’m not that ambitious type that plans for
everything- from what I’m going to wear until what I’m doing for the next second.
As I said, I’m too lazy to come out with plans (or more like wouldn’t follow
the plan even if there’s one). I know it’s bad for not thinking about my future
but I like being a happy-go-lucky person, no worries and embrace whatever that’s
coming.
