Plans For Upcoming English Lesson

For the coming English lesson, Pn. Monica has unexpectedly
given us a choice to plan what to do. Usually English class is fun because Pn.
Monica always let us do something unpredictable, like drawing monsters, playing
spelling bee, group activities and so on. However, this time, it’s our turn to
think how we should spend the two English periods wisely.
I think most of us were thinking the same thing. Drama practice.
As we all know, the drama competition is around the corner but our progression
is very slow. There is a total of 5 scenes and we’re still stuck at the beginning
of scene 4, the first puzzle. Scene 4 is the major one as it takes up to 7
minutes in our play yet we haven’t even step into the second and third puzzle,
the climax. Everyone has been working hard to make the drama work, especially our
team of actors and our beloved director (I think if he continues stressing like
that, he’ll become cuckoo).
I think we should run the entire script a few times too.
They’ve been focusing on the first puzzle scene too much because the actors
kept changing their lines as they have to improvise a bit. Our director wasn’t
really satisfied with the conversations between the characters so we were progressing
very slow. I hope they 3 main actors would still remember their part for scene
1 to 3 as it feels like a long time ago we did those scenes.
Although I’m not a part of the actors, I still have an
important job– which is finish the props as soon as possible. I’ve been
slacking for days with the reason ‘there is still time’ and that is a very bad
habit of mine. Hopefully I could get the props done on the coming English
lesson since I’m rather lazy to make it at home. At least in school I could
find an extra pair of hands to help me.
