My English Blog

Honestly, I hate writing blogs and I always do them last minute (very bad habit, Xin). Writing blogs was like a burden for half of the class and like any other people, I'm doing blogs just for the sake of my English marks– and little did I know, even if I tend to do 7 blogs in 2 days, I've been unconsciously improving my writing skills; even if I tend to do 7 blogs in 2 days, I looked forward to all the topics given by my teacher so I could find excuse to stalk my friend's blogs for inspiration (I've been frequently using stalk my friend's blog, this is a bad omen).

Looking back, reading my older posts, some of them made me cringe like why the hell did I wrote this again?, some of them made me felt proud and some of them definitely created memories.

#1 on My English Blog : Refine My Writing Skills
Of course, that's exactly what an active blogger spends his or her time doing (I'm not active). The more you blog, the more you write – and the better writer you become. Normally, people would just type a longer sentence to express their feeling when it comes to lack of  descriptive words. I always come across words that I'd used too much in my blogs and I got fed up with it. It motivates me to google the synonym for it so I would learn a variety of words but with the same meaning ( just like zero, zip, nada. I seriously like them so much haha!)

#2 on My English Blog : Expressing Myself
"This one’s pretty simple: a blog is an expressive medium that can contain words, images, and sounds. Whether your blog is formal business affair or a personal “what-I-ate-for-breakfast-this-morning” diary, blogging is powerful form of self-expression." –Nick Scheidies. That's why I love free topics so much. It't the only time I get to voice my opinion on topics I wanted to write and let my friends whom trespass my blog know what was I thinking.
