Free Topic – The Best Assignment

Looking at the title, you must be asking why free topic is the best. No doubt, for some of us, free topic can be hard because its range it incredulously wide until you don't know how to start one. For me, I love free topics the most. It might be hard sometimes as I had no idea what to write but it could be fun when I've things going in my head.

Why free topic is the best assignment (in my honest opinion):

1. I rule my own post instead of the title given by my English teacher.
Without a topic is like without a leash. You don't need to concentrate too much on the topic, brainstorm ideas and go through a lot of websites for information. When it comes to free topic, I can let my creativity and imaginations run wild. I write what I want and share them to the others. For some reasons, I thing it benefits Pn Monica too (just sayin') because my English teacher doesn't need to go through 28 same topics with 70% of us writing the same points.

2. A very good source of distraction to waste time
Okay, here's the thing. When it comes to free topic (I blame it), I became super curious what my other friends will write for their blogs, thus ended up scrolling for an hour, reading about games, health advises, personal experiences and sci-fi stories. This weird habit of mine might be useful because sometimes I stumbled across fancy English words I've never seen in my life, or sentences I like so much until it ended up stuck in my head for the rest of the day, or stories that I got so hooked up until I'd lost track of time, or jokes that got me laughing like an idiot in front of the computer.

3. Yay! Free from opening too much tabs and confuse myself.
(I was debating whether to insert this point as my post is super short but I decided to screw it and dump everything in) Whenever it comes to free topic for blog posts, it means I do not need to stalk my friends' blogs. Okay wait, there's something wrong with the sentence. I'm trying to say there is no need to go through their posts one by one (you know who I am referring to) for inspirations and waste lots of time on it, especially when it comes to super hard topics like "Discuss the plurality in Malaysia" and "Ladies should not accept jobs that take them away from home excessively". Every time I stalk their blogs, I was like: Oh this makes sense. I'm going to use this– wait. How am I supposed to construct a paragraph for this without making it look like I copied others? Seriously, it bothers me the entire time. Everyone is writing the same thing and in the end, me either.
